For all of those who were wondering why I jumped over to Shintetsu instead of doing the original one, I had found a legitimate reason why the before scanlation group stopped it and we also were refusing to do it. Any Guesses? :P
WTF??? . It WAS and IS Licensed.

I'm sure he's talking about the original Bobobo, which Viz licensed, released 5 volumes, and then ended it's run. Viz for some reason or another (they claim "legal reasons" from what I can research) jumped midway through volume 9, released a stand-alone volume, skipped two chapters (one introduced Torpedo Girl), and then released Volume 11 as "Volume 1". So no wonder they ended it's run after 5 volumes.

Sorry. That should read "re-introduced". But seriously, she isn't in the oneshot they released and suddenly she's in "Volume 1" where everybody suddenly knows who she is. Better still, "Volume 1" starts in a middle of a fight. Confusing for people that have no knowledge about the series, expecting it to be the actual first volume.
